Good to see somebody is willing to print bad news too, not just the fluffy stuff of liberals.
I see Salida is STILL in the PLAN. Hay guys, get rid of this idea of chewing up Salida! You don’t give Salidans enough credit. You think we’re asleep at the wheel? Go ahead, go to LAFCO and see how far you get. I have something you can take to the bank: Salida will be right behind you at LAFCO getting our petition(and not the “advisory petition” that Jarrad Marsh was going to allow us). You can trust this: WE WILL NUKE YOU AND YOUR PLAN!
Well, lets see about the “industrial triangle” area thats supposed to entice business owners to flock to Modesto like the ’49ers looking for GOLD. This developement will displace numerous homeowners on Decoto Road, Beckwith Road and existing good business’s in that area AND some of the best agriculture land in the county. This is the white elephant the planning commission is willing to pave over it for….JOBS??? There is no way in h*** that will come to fruition in my lifetime. My life-line says I’m gonna get very old. No, the ONLY people who will profit from this disastrous effort are real estate outfits like PMZ or Benchmark and the developers who don’t give a d*** about jobs!! The only thing they DO CARE about their bottom line, which is why they spend so much time and money to lobby the city council and people of Modesto.
They entice the good folks of Modesto with the promise of, bite my tongue, “thousands” of jobs that will “benefit” them and the town of Modesto. I think they are going to stack up these jobs in a warehouse somewhere!They are lying! Don’t believe a word they are saying. I could believe more of what they are not saying out loud behind our backs. These guys are experts at realestate and the law and therefore have no problem deceiving you just so they can line their pockets. Jobs? Hey, they don’t care about jobs. They leave that to the “elusive” “new business’s”, that they say “will come if we build it”. This people, is pure cow pucky.
So, Mr. and Mrs. Planning Commission, don’t treat us like we’re stupid or like we’re so many mushrooms under cow patty’s!
